MLG phone number?

Could someone provide me with the phone number for Maple Leaf Gardens.  If
you have a number for the gift/pro shop, could you send it along?

Thanks in advance,
Lori

C'mon Lori. We have infomation up here! :-) 1-416-555-1212
I know there is only one phone company. But that makes it easier.
I was in Boston last week and couldn't believe the trouble I had
just getting some information. ("Contact your local carrier, sir!" ????)

Anyway the Gardens is at 60 College Steet and its phone number is
977-1641. (It's also in my .phone file! :-) )

Ahmmmm....they're waiting to get a pro team before they get a pro shop!

Just a joke. Just a joke. The gift/pro shop is called Doug Laurie Sporting
Goods Ltd. It is located inside the Gradens and is at 416-977-1050.
The last time I walked by (a while ago) they appeared to be closed for
renovations.

They have really high prices however. There are a bunch of
sport shops just south of the Gardens on Yonge St. that are
slightly less outrageous. Try "The Toronto Sport Shoppe",
356 Yonge, 416-340-7363.

College Street???  You mean the Gardens is now *WEST* of Yonge?
When did they move it?  And how?  When I lived in Toronto, MLG
was at 60 Carlton Street.

Yup!

It was a couple of years ago, actually.

Ballard was still alive, so they just shut the doors, asked him why
the Soviets were such excellent hockey players and hot air did the rest.

C'mon Tom. That was years ago. Stay with the tour....

Seriously, as I've explained to the many people who sent me
mail, called and dropped by my office, "My mistake. It's
60 Carlton." (For those unfamiliar with the Toronto area,
Carlton undergoes a name change as it crosses Yonge St.and
becomes College.

The last time I was at MLG, it was at Carlton & Church, east of Yonge,
or so I thought.

Relax, the Gardens are at Church and Carlton(?), just *east* of Yonge,
and just where it was when you lived here.
