Probably Joe Mullen..(Did I see him play in the preseason?)

Fetisov is months older than MacTavish.

I think Moog is up there, running 38, I think. I have a book at hand, but I'm
just too lazy, too sick, and too loaded with infected self-pity to look at it
and get the age right.

I forget just exactly who it is, but some player turns 40 this year. The
Hockey News had an article about it last week.

Nope.

Joe Mullen        --   2/26/57
Slava Fetisov     --   4/20/58
Craig MacTavish   --   8/15/58
Kjell Samuelsson  --  10/18/58
Brad McCrimmon    --   3/29/59
Alexei Kasatonov  --  10/14/59
Dino Ciccarelli   --    2/8/60
Andy Moog         --   2/18/60
Guy Carbonneau    --   3/18/60
Jarri Kurri       --   5/18/60
Igor Larionov     --   12/3/60
Mike Ramsey       --   12/3/60
Ray Borque        --  12/28/60

There may be others to add to this fossil collection, which I gleaned
by a quick browsing of www.nhlpa.com.  I don't think you'll find any
older than Joe Mullen, though there might be others older than
Ciccarelli.

Is Raymond Bourque still paying for the Bruins? I think he's now 38
or something. Larry Robinson when he was playing for the Kings, he
was older than Barry Melrose, his coach.

Joe Mullen has signed with the Pens this year. He will be turning 40 before
the playoffs begin. He is the oldest active NHLer this year......
