It was officially announced during the Finals that the Colorado team will be
placed in the Pacific Division.  Also, no team will be moving to the East, this
will make 13 teams in each conference.

Based on the way NHL owners have done things over the last couple of
decades, I'd say that we'll find out which division Denver goes to about
November 10. :)

Where on Earth did you hear this??  As far as I know it hasn't been
done yet and will not be done until the 1996-97 expansion at the
earliest.  For the upcoming season the league will probably go with
an even 13 teams in each conference.  There has been no info so far
on whether Denver will be in the Pacific or the Central Division,
though after the expansion, depending on which teams come in, they
will probably end up in the Central.

It has already been announced that the Denver/Colorado team will be
playing in the Pacific Division for the upcoming season.  You're right,
there will be 13 teams in each conference.

The Colorado team will be in the Pacific Division this year.  Last week
the Rocky Mountain News printed the team's schedule.  The official NHL
schedule should be released in a week.

Colorado will open at home against Detroit on Friday night, Oct. 6.

*buzz*  thank you for playing...

Colorado will be in the Pacific division, and Toronto didn't move
anywhere.  Now each conference will have 13 teams.
