I have been waiting for sky sports to come up with a programme for all
the 1st/2nd divi teams but no chance,  are all those teams going to fade
away and become just a blot on the landscape. Come on all you RL fans get
your fingers out and tell sky what we want. At least one programme for 2
hours per week for the lower divisions and a proper result service and
league update, they are ***on this topic and you are all letting them
get away with it OR ARE YOU JUST ARMCHAIR SUPPORTERS WITH AN ATTITUDE OF
MY TEAM IS ALL RIGHT JACK  up yours or are we realy expanding!!!!!!!
I think not.In my oppinion if coverage is not extended then we will loose
a great chance to expand the game and then ,ost of you armchair whingers
will start on about the lack of coverage just like the old days whan the
BEEB had the game in their control. React ASAP and tell Sky .

Interesting technique to get people to help you. Cajoling to start with
then insulting the hell out of them. Or were you on your fifth litre by
the time you started shouting?

There should be a niche for lower division RL, although I heard a Five
Live game involving Swinton & Keighley (sp?) over Easter. Are five
getting better or is it wishful thinking?

But let's not mistake it, Divisons one and two are probably not a great
shop window. Let people get turned onto RL through the big boys then
maybe they might want to follow a local club

Believe it or not I heard a trailer for the *new* Superleague slot on a Sunday
night on Five Live during half-time of the Scotland-Austria match last night.
I think it's full commentary on the Eagles v Tigers. I gathered that this will be a
regular for the rest of the season

What were the crowds at the SL games over Easter (apart from the Saints v
Wigan match)?
About 4000 - 5000.

What was the crowd at The Boulevard on Good Friday?
Over 12000.

Wigan v Saints 17,000?
CC Semi's (what were the crowds?)

You have a point perhaps there could be a role for the top game(s) from
division one and or two?

Of course there is.  If you try and tell me that Huddersfield v Hull is
not going to be a stormer you're mad.  That should be a candidate for Sky
if ever there was one.  Also Hull v Hull KR for sheer commitment and
passion, would be great TV.

The lower divisions have appointed Bob Scott from Huddersfield to be
their General Manager, and part of his job is to get more recognition from
Sky, so maybe we'll see something happening soon.

There were highlights from the Hull derby on World of SuperLeague this
Weds night...

Salford had their game v keighley where they won the title last season
televised by Sky so they do show the crucial games, just not the week
in week out crucial games...

Lot of ***y good that is.  My sister wanted to Tour of ***y Duty on UK
Living, and she beat me to the remote control, and then threw a strop :(

if 12,000 is all you can get for such a hotbed of RL in one city is it any
wonder, humberside is struggling.

That's a laugh.  The two supposedly biggest sides in the SuperLeague have
only a few thousand more, and every other team is left for dust.......

No, but we do get 4-5,000 every week which is about the same as the
bottom SL clubs

Actually they do.  We've been told to keep it quiet so as not to embarass
the SL clubs.

Are you sure you've not been told to keep quiet because all you lot

Keighley again :)
