Challenge Cup rd 4 St Helens vs. Wigan

Hello, just thought I'd introduce myself,

my name's Del from St Helens.

I'd just like to say that my dream that there could be some humility in
Wigan fans has finally showed to be true.
Yesterday I made my usual excursion to the Black Bull after the game, and
found Wiganers doing what I've done so many times in the past- drowning
their sorrows. Were they bitter and twisted,?  no- they showed the same
respect for Saints and their victory that I've showed Wigan on the many
occasions we've been beaten.

I've been so used to Pie-Eaters being all grumpy (even when they win), that
this was a pleasant surprise. Yes the rivalry is as strong as ever, but I
think now that they're beginning to realise that the two teams are on a
level playing field again...

Here's to many great Derby Day matches in the future, win or lose, a Wigan
v Saints match is the ideal day's entertainment. Well played both teams !

(Wemberlee here we come)
****Lurk mode back on*****
