I believe the Reds v Cougars game is Sky's choice for Sunday night.
That's quite cool actually as they've neglected to mention any kind of
competition outside of the Super League all year.

Watch us get ***y beat now :(

the RFL and SKY were right to concentrate on the Superleague, as the
competition has only just been launched. by the way I'm not a fan of a SL
club, but I'm fully behind the concept and that includes mergers...what
really matters is how the clubs are run once they do merge. On the surface
Salford should do well as they seem quite progressive and I rate Andy
Gregory. But you might get an idea of the club's mind set, when you
realise that women, aoart from those bringing the drinks etc , are barred
from the reds boardroom! I hope they'e changed this policy and joined the
rst of us in the 20th century
cheers Chris

Dunno if they have but it doesn't surprise me. I think the club has its
forward thinkers and it's wanna-stay-in-the-pasts too which is a
shame...

Thankfully I think forward thinking is winning...

When I went to Salford in the Centenary season there were women allowed in the Boardroom.
BTW the Salford boardroom is very smart and the food was superb !

Is that the case, Chris?  I mean, are we really that antidiluvian?  Are
there other RL clubs with similar discrimination policies?

Warrington have an outer and an inner boardroom from which women are
said to be excluded unless serving (this may be out of date now).
However to my knowledge wifes/partners of visiting directors have
been in the inner boardroom without comment (although some odd looks)
- perhaps because the Warrington directors didnt want to cause a scene.

Wigan, Saints, Widnes and Halifax don't discriminate.  Don't know about
anywhere else.

All the best

Workington used to discriminate back in 1993, although I don't know whether or not they've
changed now.  Another strange story is that Hull FC are reluctant to accept any women in the
Boardroom who wear red (Hull KR colours).. ....... it's a funny old game !
