Great performance by the British Lads. It was good to watch and I really did
enjoy it. I cant help but wonder though have we really improved that much
over the past few seasons or is this Kiwi side the worst we have seen in
recent years?

Apparently the kiwi side brought out for these tests are mostly bench
warmers or play for the poorer teams in the NRL.  Last night they looked
very amateurish.  Mark my words though whenever GB come up against the likes
of Australia, they'll be hammered.  Very disappointed with NZ. But what do I
care, Ireland are in the world cup! :P

Both I would say. NZ were poor no doubt but the GB team played with a
verve and confidence not seen for some time.

Maybe this Smith bloke does know what he's doing after all.

Was the best coach in SL for mine, and if he continues in this vein & puts
together a team capable of beating the Aussies then good luck to him.

Enjoyed it until it became clear NZ were never going to do anything. In the
end I felt a bit sorry for them to be honest.

Lets Hope Smith puts some young bucks in for the next one and leaves the
older players out even if we lose at least we can assess the strength in the
younger players and build on that , not rely on things coming right on the
day later on

I felt as sorry for them as they would have for us.

He has to be one of the best coaches around, surely? To go into that Super
League grand final and absolutely kick seven shades of shit out of Saints is
not an easy thing to do by any stretch of the imagination (pardon my french
in the post).

Question - when does the fixtures for the super league in the new year come
out, and when is the world club championship on?
