Leeds win in last minute

After the Lord Mayor's show. After a superb display against Saints last Friday
the rhinos came out thinking that Cas would just be a formality. We were ripped
apart in the 1st half and were very lucky to be only 11-6 down at half-time. The
one highlight of the half being the 1st try by Iestyn Harris, a superb solo effort.

Leeds were a lot better in the 2nd half but still dropped too many balls and the
tackling especially after Friday was atrocious. Good tries from Sterling, Cummins
and the last minute winner from Anthony Farrell.

The one good thing to come out of last night was the never say die attitude. Last
season we would have rolled over and given up. Well played Cas, you won't
play much better again and lose. Mike Ford had a great game. It's no wonder
Wakefield Trinity are upset about losing him.

been a Cas supporter (a little like I was last week against Wigan). If
Leeds play like that against the Eagles on Sunday we will loose another
and be destined for mid table mediocrity. The whole team looked
knackered and didn't have a clue what Iestyn was going to do next. They
need to train more and work on some of the 'planned moves' otherwise
they will continue to blunder into one another.

I think it is more a case of Leeds suffering fatigue from the game against
St. Helens.

The league cannot expect teams to play top class rugby backing up from the
match before.

This years competition is at least twice as fast as last season, even the bottom
sides are working lot harder.

It should be 1 match per week, all being played on Sundays.

I have no sympathy for teams who alter kick-off times leaving their sides
knackered for the coming away fixture.

Going beyond this I feel that any side coming up from the 1st division this
season will be in for a *torrid* time next season.

The pace of the game will probably leave them breathless.
