how do people think that division one will go this season. Some of the
clubs seem to have better facilities and be more progressive in the way
they are run than a lot of Superleague clubs.

I reckon Huddersfield to take the title, with Hull FC and Fev following.

Contrary to popular opinion, I don't think Swinton will do much.
Whitehaven to go down but the other relegation place is wide open and it
could well be Keighley who fall by the wayside.

I notice you posted this *before* Hull FC beat Huddersfield at The
Boulevard on Thursday night.

Huddersfield will not finish above Hull FC.  I guarantee it.

I think D1 will be a very close run thing this year, with no Salford to
run away with it.  I don't fancy Dewsbury, Swinton or Wakefield to do
much, and Widnes don't seem to have a lot of cover if they start to pick
up injuries.  My top four would be: Hull, Huddersfield, Cougars and HKR,
in that order.  Not sure about Fev - they don't look to be much stronger
than last year, but I may be wrong.  Whitehaven may surprise one or two
people; I quite fancy them to finish above Workington.

Depends if some referee does the decent thing and sends most of the Hull
side off.  Ben Barton ended up in hospital AGAIN after Thursdays match,
but this time he only had a punctured eardrum.  We had numerous other
injuries after Thursday.

Maybe you remember the last time Fartown were at the Boulevard, Barton
was stretchered off with a suspected broken neck and some *** in the
crowd shouted "We'll have your neck next Schofield".

Somebody said on the bus back to Huddersfield: "I'd rather Fartown lost
every week than put a bunch of thugs on the park like Hull"

I notice from another thread regarding Andy Dannatt and Ellery Hanley
that Hull have been a bunch of thugs for years!

Cheers

Stephen

Self-fulfilling prophesy, I'm sure...

What about the supporters?  If you don't keep slagging us off, as well as
the players, r.s.r.l'ers will think we're getting as soft as those that
criticised 'Thee Hull FC's' capital letters as a bit too aggressive.
