HELP ME (MANLY v Easts) Free Tickets

Post by Peter McEnty » Fri, 15 Nov 1996 04:00:00

I live in Japan Tokyo ; but that does'nt mean I'm rich.
I cant afford to pay $120 dollars to watch this game
on the 24th of November in Tokyo. Can any one advise me how
to sneak in the back door??? If I pay this much to see the
game it means my son can't go to Kindergarten for two weeks!!!
I'm killing myself to pay the food bill let alone a game I truly
love that I have'nt seen for 3 years. HELP a MANLY supporter
since L grade in the Forrestville Ferrets back in 1971.
I hope this notice is allowed in such a newsgroup. If not
GIVE ME HEAPS...

You just might get away with it in this newsgroup, but if you'd posted to
aus.sport.rugby-league then I can tell you (as another Manly supporter)
that you may not have received a friendly response. I don't know how
you're going to slip in to the match - I can give you some sympathy
though, that price sounds ridiculous to me - I would have thought that the
priority would be to get plenty of Japanese to go along to the game to
encourage the game there. (Are they signed up with Murdoch?)
I thought that the $50 I paid for the GF ticket was a lot of money for
just a game of football........
Is Craig Field playing in that match. (He still hadn't actually signed for
Manly the last time I heard, a few weeks ago)
Coincidence- my son played for the Ferrets for a year or so when he was
experimenting with playing different sports.

Yeah yeah yeah... I paid 120 for a pair of tickets to see ENgland beat
Wales at Twickenham and I was on the Jam.
