    Australian Rugby League has been successful in its Court case
against Superleague.

      Appeal probable.

The way that Ribot has acted throughout this miserable affair almost ensures
that there will be an appeal. NEWS ltd not only lost the case but they lost on
all 10 points contested and the leading luminaries from "Super League" were
severely castigated by Justice Burchett. They were said to be dishonest
throughout the attempted takeover and even so have not changed their tune.

 By the time that this affair is over it could very well cost NEWS ltd upward
of $A150million. If I was a shareholder in NEWS ltd I would be asking a lot of
questions there.

As far as I am concerned Rupert need to rid himself of Cowley, Ribot and
O'Connor and try to extract his company from this disaster as cheaply as
possible. These people have tried to destory the game so they could build it
into a company product that was on its way to resembling Gridiron.

I am VERY pleased with the decision!
