: Just for the record, the Eagles are going to stuff Wigan on Saturday!

I ***y hope so. I won a tenner last week off my Dad on the test match
and a tenner the week before on Salford v Hull. He gets them both back if
Wigan win on Saturday.

Chris, you should have quit while you were ahead mate.
That'll teach you to bet against Wigan.

I doubt it, but it will closer than the odds the bookies are giving.

If Sheffield win I will be surprised and it would not be by much, so "stuffing"
Wigan is not on the cards IMO.

I reckon Wigan will have too much for the Eagles but I expect a good game with
Wigan to win by 12.

Wembley here I come!

I thought if I lull him into a false sense of security I could take him
for everything he's got on the Grand Final.

I shall have a few quid on at 13-2, and perhaps offset it by selling Wigan's
winning margin on the sporting index.

Congrats to the Eagles, didn't they play well...stuck to their game plan and
never let the Pies get into their stride. Superb tackling all game, took their
chances very well. A bit more subtle than London in slowing the PTB down. What
went wrong Wigan, when they had it they never did much threaten the line. A win
for the team and the coaching staff, and ultimately, I hope, the game of RL.

I concur, what a first class result and played with only a couple of penalties
for foul play.

Well said and well done - they did ;-)  I was sitting at home routing for
the Eagles who impressed me last year when they played the Saints
and when the knocked out the much improved Giant Killers... Castleford.

I get the greatest pleasure though at seeing the loudmouths from
Wigan, who post to this newsgroup and have been filling it full of
***recently about how Wigan were so invincible: Have their
words stuffed down their pie covered mouths.

Some of the posts from these morons regarding your original
post were, unfortunately, what we have come to expect from
these spotty faced, green mouldy pies.

Sean B

Saints (and this week Sheffield Eagles)
Good Luck next week ;-)

I'd like to argue you with you there, but hell.....I can't.  I couldn't
agree with you more.  I thought there would have been a few of them on
by now attempting to be gracious in defeat, telling us all how well
Sheffield played, and trying to riddle out of having the micky taken out
of them, but up to now, nothing, how disappointing, oh well, I'm sure
we're all ready and waiting to comfort them in their hour of need.  :-))

Are you still suprised, I would have thought gutted, sick as a parrot or
WRONG, would sum it up much better.  You've got to laugh though, haven't
you, well.. the rest of us have anyway :-))

Have you got any more red hot certainties for next week?
