dreadful England RU - roll on the new RL season

Am I not the only one (and a southerner too) who gets thoroughly hacked
off with the hype the BBC give to RU which totally fails to live up to
the joke which was England v Argentina.

Comparing the 2 games, England seem incapable of being able to
pass/catch the ball on the move in RU. It wasn't so many seasons ago
that they would kick it into touch and move up to the next line-out.
There is also a belief that Gusgott & co can always save the day. He's
about 30 now and needs to move aside for the next generation (Robinson,
Connolly etc).

Anyway despite playing ***Rugby, they will win the 5 nations & learn
nothing. Give me RL anyday !!!

Do you think the Middlesex 7's organisers will invite Saints & we can
look forward to Wigan vs Saints at Twickers. That will wind up the Ra
ra's.

Enuff wingeing - are SKY showing Wigan vs Saints on Boxing - I'll be
annoyed if they don't.

Saint's have already stated that they are not available for the Seven's,
which IMO is a shame ,as you're quite right, a Wigan v Saint's final would
have the Ra Ra's crying into their Champagne.

More disappointment I'm afraid , there are no Sky matches over the Xmas
period ( unless they're not advertised ) In fact I believe that the first
chance we will get to see the Great Game on the box will be courtesy of
the good old BBC who are televising the later rounds of the Challenge Cup (
mid Feb on ).

I'm surprised that the Townsville  Nines are not Televised , as I would
have thought it would have been a good chance for Murdoch to start
stimulating Trans- Gobal interest in the game prior to the Summer World
challenge comp.

Still there's plenty of Beach Volleyball and WWF etc. on Sky over the
festive season :->

Oh, my God. We're going to launch 97 with Ray French's commentary!

That's awful news. Are Sky really not showing the 9s?
