HEAR BULLS GAMES LIVE ON THE NET!

Bradford Bulls fans around the world now have the chance to hear live
commentary on Bulls games from Odsal Stadium, starting with the game against
Leeds Rhinos on Thursday 1st April.

This feature is part of the new internet radio service called Touchdown FM,
operated by local Bradford station BCB Radio on their website using Real
Audio technology.

The station is also covering Bradford City's progress towards promotion to
the FA Premier League.

Looks like once again the Bulls are leading the way in marketing the game. I
just hope the date of the first transmission isn't significant.....

I never thought of that :-)

It's just a co-incidence that it happens to be 1st April, though. It is a
genuine service not a hoax!!

Though I'm sure they'd love to take the credit, I ought to point out, to be
fair, that this isn't anything to do with Bradford Bulls themselves though I
checked with them yesterday and they are fully supporting the initiative.

It is a service offered completely independent of the club, operated by a
local cable radio station in Bradford on their own website. They have been
covering Bradford City FC games for a while now, and have now added Bulls
home games to their scheduling.

I haven't heard any of their live sports broadcasts myself, though I have
tuned into their regular programmes on the web using Real Audio, and the
quality of reception has been excellent.

I'd be interested to hear how tonight's broadcast from Odsal sounds. Can't
listen to it myself cos I'll be at the game, but if anyone out there does
tune in, I'd be grateful if you could please post a review in the NG.
