New Structure still not good enough

New Structure still not good enough

Thank god FASDA saw sense and changed the format  from a 5 team second
division ; but why do they still continue to f*** about and not have each
team playing each other twice. Is another 6 games really going to make that
much difference. Fans are going to complain of easier timetables for other
teams etc etc. FASDA  - just organise a proper league for once and stop
turning fans off.

Well the fact the title will be decided by a playoff / GF system is
supposed to appease such thoughts.

I assume they could not fit the extra 6 games into the season and did
not want to extend it.

Or maybe they wanted to justify retaining the playoff system.

If you have such a fixture structure a playoff system is IMO required
to try to sort out the anomalies introduced by some teams only playing
each other once.  The supporters are supposed to see it that way,
accept it, and not moan about an easier path for one club over
another.  (Pigs will fly first).

I, like you, would prefer the extra games that home and away matches
would bring.

However, if you go for that, you don't need a playoff to decide who
are champions.
