GB vs New Zealand - what did you all reckon?

GB vs New Zealand - what did you all reckon?

Heya guys I caught this game last Saturday - can I ask what was the
difference between this and the "all golds versus northern union" game? Im
sorry to be so ignorant - I missed the previous game due to a certain other
sport, but I must admit I had never heard of those teams so I assumed it
some state of origin from Australia type game.

Was it different players? Different rules etc? If anyone can tell me what
the difference was between the test game of GB vs NZ and that game I would
really appreciate it.

Second, onto the game, I was surprised we havent won a test series in so
long! I have watched most, and remember when it was thought we'd beat the
"weaker Australian side" only for us to lose the series 3-0, despite the
games being close.

I was glad we won, and it seemed really attritional out there. I thought
Phil Clarke was spot on - do you guys rate him as a commentator? Steveo
insisted a 3-0 easily winnable series for us, but the game was far closer
and tighter than that.

Anyway, am enjoying the series and I hope we produce a series winning effort
this weekend!

Mr.Will

Yes, mainly that the All Golds included one Aussie, Steven Price
(standing in for the original Dally Messenger) and a couple of
Test-retired players Stacey Jones and Reuben Wiki.

Northern Union was a bit of a GB 2nd team.

1907 scoring: 3 points for a try, 2 points for any goal.

Take a look at http://www.superleague.co.uk for more.
