Thoughts on Offiahs try

I was just writing to Steve re the up and coming Parisian trip and I
incuded a few comments re last Friday's game, thought I would include
them here as well:- Thought it was good, cut out some of the unforced
errors and we would have won. Not sure Saints have got what it takes now,
or even last Friday. I think that on our day we arn't a bad team and if
we tatically play it right can stand a chance against most teams. Not
sure about our confidence though. All Stevo could do on Sky was ask why
Offiah didn't pass inside. Pratt. What does he think wingers are payed
for, exactly what Offiah did and most other full backs/defenders will
have seen that...next time???? Lots more options. A wingers best
attacking strength is the confidence to take on defenders on the outside
(remember how he tried in some of the Aussi test a few years ago (over
there), against ET I think, and he scored one in the great Melbourne
test. Thats what its all about.

Here's to Monday night in Paris another 2 points I would think. 2 away
games in one season!

Roger Stocker.....just finishing my home page!! Bring on the anoraks!! At
the moment the draft one is at:-
http://members.aol.com/rgstocker/private/20597.htm hopefully moving to a
index.htm when I have sussed out how to ftp proper like....(and got the
gifs/jpg's in the same case format!!)

Can't but agree with these after long and careful reflection.

I dispared of ever seeing this much passion and skill in the old boy.

If he gets up every week he could make a difference, is second spot
still up for grabs?

If he'd have passed inside it I reckon it would have been intecepted, or
perhaps gone to ground, then Stevo would have blasted him for that
instead. damned if you do, damned if you don't. Martin did what he is
payed for, so did gob of the north.
