CULLEN SIGNS FOR WIGAN!

CULLEN SIGNS FOR WIGAN!

Well, OK, yes, it's a complete fabrication and as likely as, well,
Rick Boyd making a trip to Leicester to watch Deano's tesimonial.
But it *did* get your attention, albeit in a particularly snidey,
typically underhand northern hemispherical fashion.  Anyway, while
you're here, let me tell you about the latest sparkling, provocative,
cross-code edition of UNCLE DAVE'S RUGBY PAGE!

With the Five Nations in full swing the picture is becoming
clearer - Scotland have about as much chance of winning as our
subject has of becoming reality.  Undeterred (so far) our tame
Scot PAUL COFFEY braves "Kilts, Plastic Leeks & A Striped Gilbert"
watching Wales at Murrayfield and gets "Mulled, Stuffed & Bashoed"
in the club bar for the England game...

Rugby League rears its ugly head for the first time on UD's pages
as Wigan fan PHIL HALIWELL asks "Whither Wigan?"   Judging by their
cup game, the casualty ward at Harold Arkwright's Memorial Infirmary
probably...

Meanwhile, THE BOYD AND DIDDY SHOW rolls ever on.  RICK BOYD takes
time out from blaming the Poms for everything to blame them for
something specific in his look at Professional Rugby.   Readers of
a nervous disposition should bear in mind that it gets very hot in the
colonies at this time of year...

IAN DIDDAMS remains cool, calm and collected as he delves into
the history of professionalism as a link to what is happening
now and discusses what might happen in the future.  And (ssshhh) he
mentions Rugby League while he's doing it.  Provocative or what?!

Enough is enough, so don't bust a sheep's bladder, head on over to
