The weekends close results in SL can only bee good for the game. Most games
were very close this week. I only hope that continues. Close results can only
be good for the game as a whole. The biggest surprise was that Warrington dealt
out the biggest win margin.

What does everyone else think?

It sickens me to darw at Fax but you have to be right.

50 - 0 helps no one, I'm all for a more competitive SL even if it
decreases London's chances of winning. Lets hope we save something for
the Aussies

Isn't this what SL wa supposed to be all about.  Put money into the game so
all the clubs can afford decent players and get more even contests instead
of one or two teams who can afford the best players running away with all
the prizes (except for Leeds who could afford all the best players but
still won *** all!).

Now too early for all that I get grumpy for a couple of hours when we
play poorly or loose but nothing too painful

Different players, can't wait to see him play against the aussies. I
have put my rep on Saints and Bulls being able to give the Aussies a
decent game.

Haven't we had this conversation before. Why don't you try and think of something
original to say about Leeds or is this too difficult for a Shark. Mind you they do say
that compared to it's size a Shark's brain is tiny. Nuff said.

I think I'm f****d in the Tipster's competition.  Wrong.  I know I'm
f****d.
However, I think the weekend just gone has to be one of the best adverts
for the game for a long time - one draw, three won on drop-goals, one
won by a single try, shame about Cas.  Suddenly SL is wide-open and
fascinating.  Lets have loads more of the same, except at the Stoop on
Friday...

Gill is but one man.

Out for two games and we loose one and draw the other

Could the fact that we are enjoying good competitive games at the moment
have anything to do with ref Cummins (sp?) leading the way by making
sure both teams play by the rules, cleaning up the play the balls, and
being fair to both sides?

The last game he reffed which was on Sky was really good to watch.
Connolly also seems to be doing well at the moment. Even Smith had a
better grip the last game. Keep it up referees.

We have had this conversation before and will no doubt have it again when
the subject of a club's ability to buy the best players comes up again.

BTW, did you know that if you're being charged at by a rhino all you have
to do is stay out of it's way for a few seconds, not difficult as it only
sees what's directly in front of it, and then it will forget what it was
chasing!!  Sounds about right!
