MANLY WIN - THANKS TO THE REF!

: Well Manly have just won 20-8, but well, what can I say, a HORRIFIC
: refereeing decision ruined the game for the Saints.
:
: It just proves that Manly and the ARL (and the refs) have got something
: going!
:
: This isn't just bad vibes becuase Manly won, it is just so typical that
: such a F**KED refereeing decision had to decide it.
:
: Good game Saints, don't worry, I don't think any team could have beat them
: with the help they got.

As they say, only the poor losers blame the referee.

Refereeing decisions are all part of the game, and let's face it, St
George were whipped anyway.

I'd have to say I believe Manson had a good game, and I'd like to see
you, my one-eyed friend, do better.

As a neutral I have to say it seems St. George were really hard done by.
The difference going in at half time between going in 8-2 down and 14-2
is, IMO, very significant.

St. George had to chase the game and it must have made a difference to
their game plan for the 2nd half while Manly could relay on their
excellent defence to see them through.

I guess it just goes to show the pitfalls of basing the outcome of a whole
season on the result of one game.  One ***decision and the whole plot is
ruined.

Long may it remain that the champs of GB are  decided on the League
campaign rather than the premierships.
