I have noticed that for the majority of the Australian teams in the WCC,
they have no major sponsor, only Ansett as minor sponser, no team logo,
only the SL logo, and color schemes very different from the NSWRL/ ARL
days.

Is there a copyright reason for this, or have times simply changed?

Oh, and can anyone tell me how to begin a thread in netscape 3, because
I have to reply to people rather than begin a new thread?

Oh, and Bradford, robbed.  Mind you, its the antipodean players leading
the way - Robbie Paul played a blinder when he was on the pitch.

Is ASL played as a franchise system with pool players as in NFL in
America, or is there contractual interchange between the clubs?

Grudgingly, well done Wigan ( the last time I cheered them was the lat
World Club Challenge. )

Paul.

Well if that game reflects the difference between RL in Australia and GB
I'd say the difference is small.

The smiley after your name appears to have something sticking in its
mouth, anyone know what this could be???

I have to admit I went the game with a view to support the ESL and the
Bulls, against my better nature. By the start of the match I wanted the
Panthers due to the arrogance of the Bulls fans. One of these self
proclaimed experts (and probably not one of the 1500 Northern supporters
there two years ago) said, 'It's good to have a challenge in an Aussie
side as no one in Europe can touch us'.

He was obviously absent from Wembley.
