Well Dave, I must respond to this load of old ***very quickly. At
least St Helens, Leeds, Wigan and possibly Gateshead will finish above
you. I sincerely doubt that anyone who knows what they are talking
about will share your view that the Bulls will be the main threat to
Wigan. If London get sorted out and Halifax continue as they have done
you may once again find yourself struggling to get a top five place.
Admittedly last year you did have more than your fair share of injury
problems, but you still weren't expansive enough to cause a threat to
the elite sides in Britain as they could now tackle which knackered your
plans of playing with fif*** forwards (Robbie Paul and Paul Deacon not
included) and trying to barge your way to success as had happened the
Henry Paul is an undoubtedly world class player, and there are few of
them around in the UK at the moment. With no disrespect to Scott
Naylor, he's not exactly a world beater and they are at least eight,
maybe ten centres I could name in the British game who I would rather
have instead. Withers was getting rave reviews from Down Under so I'll
save my judgement on him for the time being as I will with Nick Zisti
(although he can't be all that bad as it was rumoured he was to be
Murray's first Leeds signing at the start of last year).
Once again, that attitude problem shines through as I have spoke about
before; 'We are better than everyone else and will refuse to acknowledge
anyone else' although I will admit this is not as apparent in non fair-
Neil 'The Real Deal' B.
