Theres been a lot of talk lately about certain groups of fans spoiling
the enjoyment of the game for others. To read it you would think that
the game is going down the same sewer that football went in the 70s &
80s. However, the vast majority of fans still conduct themselves in a
proper manner as shown last weekend.

Last Sunday at Craven Park the Braves faced a Doncaster Dragons side
still searching for their first win of the season. Despite this they
brought a sizeable group of fans with them. These supporters got behind
their team, singing their hearts out before, during and even after the
game which they lost. Despite getting beat they stayed behind after the
match to cheer their side off the pitch, and exchange best wishes for
the rest of the season with the home fans. True Rugby League fans, each
and every one of them and a credit to the game.

The other week we travelled to watch the Lynx play at Doncaster and I
must agree the Doncaster fans were out in numbers and well behind
their team all the way through the game. It was a game they could well
have won, but even so they gave both teams a good ovation when they
left the pitch. All credit to them and lets hope they get their first
win soon(hopefully against Leigh this Sunday).
