announced his intention to buy the club!! A new board will be in place and
the deal secures Rovers long term future - It is believed Mr caddick will
not have any board interest (thus he can continue to own the Rhino's) .

See www.hullkr.co.uk for full details.

I am absolutely estatic - When the red red robin comes bob bob bobbing

Well I read the article and spotted this:-

"It's understood that Mr Caddick will make substantial funds available
for new players, local rumours are also suggesting the possibilty of a
move to Craven Park for Leeds Rhinos and England star Graham Holroyd.
According to sources, he is determined to build a side capable of
earning a place in the Super League."

Hmmmm....yet another way to offload players from Leeds Rhinos to cut
the wage bill?

"The formation of a new-look board of directors will bypass tough
Rugby League regulations effectively barring the same individual from
controlling two clubs."

"Bypassing" regulations seems to be a strong point of senior people at
the Rhinos at the moment.

How is owning and controlling different?

Wigan supposedly have a board independent of Dave Whelan I don't think
many believe that to be the case.

IMO, the last thing Caddick should do is start off loading Rhinos
players to Hull KR and if they have any sense the Hull KR board should
steer well clear unless they both want to be accused of underhand
dealings.

Getting the club out of admin is one thing but I think the RFL needs
to take a long hard look at the various associations between senior
people in certain clubs.

We have had Kath Heatherington at Leeds Feeder club, now she is at
Gateshead .

Gary Heatherington at Leeds

Caddick at Leeds

Caddick at Hull KR.

What next?

I've finally worked out whats happening at Leeds - they are going to buy
every other RL club, and then they might fimally win something! ;-)

BTW don't you just love the quote (from HKR's web site) that
"The formation of a new-look board of directors will bypass tough Rugby
League regulations effectively barring the same individual from controlling
two clubs."
If the owner of a club doesn't control it, I don't know who does!

IMO, this is just another example of Leeds bending the rules until just
before they snap

It's just one big plot isn't it Dave for Leeds to take over the world. The
newest *** theory starts here. Maybe Caddick is doing it 'cos he
likes RL and is trying to save a club, Hull KR, from extinction. No, better
go for the first one. :^)

Caddick can't be doing it because he likes the game as this would
involve a member of the Leeds board in some honest dealings.  Shock
horror.  :-)

Don't be daft.  Leeds are not *allowed* to win anything  :-).  Just to
be the club everyone loves to hate, become paranoid about, become
obsessively paranoid about, etc, etc.

And until that delightful noise is heard (the rules snapping) what
exactly do you intend to do about it?

You paranoid git.  Do you honestly think that Holroyd would want to go
and play for Hull KR just for the benefit of Leeds Rugby Club.  He
allegedally would recieve offers from Sheffield, Halifax and
Huddersfield if he were to become available and (no disrespect to Hull
KR here) wouldn't give a stuff about whether his move is going to help
what would be his ex club get around the Salary Cap.  I'm sure most SL
players would rather join a SL club than Hull KR, especially when the
are more or less guaranteed a starting place and a decent wage.

Perhaps every Chief Exec at *every* club in the country will join forces
with Leeds, eh Dave?  I mean, it would work well with the conspiricy
theory about Leeds Rugby Club ruling the world.

Is this is the SAME HullKR who were "saved" by the last change about of
Superleague etc whilst at the same time the Cougars and Workington (Both NOW
SAVED) were to be thrown out!

No, they'd never manage to *win* something. All the games would result in
draws or something.

At last you admit that they are bending with rules as far as possible, and
bypassing the spirit of the game just so that they can win something.

Yes please ! :-)))
What a great idea - I'll get on to Mr. Caddick immediately. I'm sure
he'd like to expand his empire to the full length of the M62.
