Salford V Paris/Where's the duck?

Post by Linda Harve » Wed, 02 Apr 1997 04:00:00

Well, I think we used up most of this season's luck yesterday.  I still
can't believe we won that game, but I'm not complaining - 3 games and 3
wins will do me.  I intend to enjoy the heady delights of being second
in Super League for as long as it lasts!

Just one query ... where was the duck yesterday?  Is he poorly?  Can't
he speak French?  Did the Oldham Bear frighten him away?

He's a Paramedic would you believe and works Mon-Fri on day shifts...

Thought: Can the Paris team speak French?

I can reveal the duck was on the bench at Warrington waiting to come on
for the PIEEEES

I can see it now, player goes down with bad injury and the Duck runs onto
the pitch to give mouth to mouth resuscitation.

The dizzy heights didn't last long, did they?  Good job I enjoyed it
whilst I could.  From my count, one of the Paris team could (probably)
have spoken French.
