Thank you for such eloquent words. I thought RSRL was so much better
then othe NGs, as most of it is quite reasonable discussion. I was
proud to be part of a NG that I did not use my killfile on Ah well, No
longer!

The above statement has taken on a rather different meaning this
morning with the stunning news that Wigan have "parted company" with
Graeme West (ie sacked him) because he refused to move from coach to
"football manager" - the position Joe Lydon held before he "resigned".
This seems to me as a Wigan fan a gross overreaction to one cup
defeat, if indeed that is the reason. West has coached Wigan over 70
league games, and they lost only 6 of these and drew 1 (THAT one v London)
and just 2 other games in the cup - ie lost 8 out of about 90. Granted
Wigan were poor, but they could have given him a few more games than one
for the season! Safe to say that life as a Wigan fan is never dull. To
think that 3 months ago Eric Hughes would be head coach at Wigan. The mind
fair boggles!!!!!

Has this Firestarter chap said ANYTHING even REMOTELY sensible? I
suppose he has the pleasure of knowing he is my first killfile entry
in RSRL!
