Maurice Lindsay:

"The inability to introduce South Wales and Newcastle was the fault of all
the clubs together," he said.

"There were many voices in the first and second divisions who did not want
Newcastle and it has been desperately difficult to get support for London"

If these words are true then Mo was a decent bloke after all.
