Right, what's going on here then...

Manchester Evening News reporting that Saints have offered Goulding to
Warrington in a swap deal for Sculthorpe and *Briers*. Wolves have
said no but I've heard they've upped the offer with Prescott and Busby
too...

It's weird innit....you have to wonder why they'd make that decision
to offload Bob....

Sculthorpe's good and all but it's only a few weeks since Briers was
no longer in the picture at KR.

You can't beat snap decisions...

I think I know what's going on here. Wire employed some bloke to make up
rumours during the Harris fiasco. Now that's over he's got nothing to do
and so is starting to do some Sculthorpe rumours. Not very original this
one, however, because the same rumour went round about the deal for
Harris.

Good point except this has come from David Burke, the chief Sports
writer of the Manchester Evening News and one of the most respected RL
journos in the country, if only cos of his connections with SL
Europe..

I've never known the guy to be wrong before....ever!

Allegedly Goulding poured beer over the chairman's wife after the wembly
final. I find it hard to believe that he'd waste a perfectly good pint
like that!!

Goulding never did have any common sense. No real Northern man would
EVER waste a pint like that. That's why Wigan dumped him.

Remember when he was just 18 and gpt arrssedt and deported from Aus whilst
on tour with the GB team. He's never really matured off the feild of play
despite all his rantings and ravings to the press..
