Shaun for prime minister

Post by Baz » Tue, 11 Feb 1997 04:00:00

After taking a couple of days to come to terms with the defeat my team
suffered against Saint Helens on Saturday I have developed a new plan of
action for the Warriors,

1 Shaun Edwards to be re-instated as club captain.

2 Shaun Edwards to be given the coaching job.

3 Shaun Edwards to be made a director of WRLFC

4 Shaun Edwards to be Chairman of WRLFC

5 Shaun Edwards to be Chief Executive of WRLFC

6 Bobby Goulding to be given job of boot cleaner in practice for his
appearance before the disaplinary panel where he will have to*** some
boots to play again for a few matches.

I know this may sound a little far fetched but action has to be taken
before the SL, and who better than one of the most if not the most
decorated Rugby League Player ever to play.......

Can you see what you Saints have done to us Wiganers

Phew - can Edwards really do all that?

I mean he looked like an old man on Saturday!

Maybe if you fitted him a new pacemaker and gave him a Zimmer frame :)

Well he can't do any worse,

1 A Captain who can't motavate himself without fighting never mind his
team.

2 A Coach who thinks tactics are sweets in a small plastic container.

3 A Director to replace John Martin (real name Melvin Leatherbarrow) well
the name says it all and is also Cowies father in law.

4 The Chairman because will probably end up doing time (if justice is done)

5 Chief Exec why not we haven't got one....

Baz......

Agreed - personally I thought Farrell had lost it before he had even set
foot on the pitch - the way he was talking on the radio a couple of nights
before you would swear he was preparing for a 12 rounder.

Well yes and no, I think West is probably the best man manager Wigan have
ever had but on the other hand he has totally changed Wigan's style of play
from a team who's main strength was in the pack to a team which relies on
blasting the opposition out of the game with the backs.

Now how much this is down to West and how much it is down to the directors
for supplying him with the players he has - I don't know.

Why - I don't know much about the fellow?

If it's just because he's Cowie's relation then I wouldn't worry too much,
Saints players have more relations on the board of directors than any club
I know.

Well I agree with you in all but one area.

Personally I think Wigan are making a HUGE mistake going in with Whelan,
in this one area I agree with Jack Robinson.

More to the point, Edwards is the only RL player I can think of to
get married to a pop star. He obviously still has a bit of energy
left in him.

Mind you, on Saturday, he may have been searching for the hero inside
himself, but he couldn't seem to find him !

(sorry - cheesy, but I couldn't resist)

I heard that they had split up recently. Couldn't see what she saw in him
anyway. God only knows what the sprog might look like. A candidate
for the Chamber of Horrors if it looks like him. :-)

It said in the paper the other week that they had split up.

Shauns bad looks are not hereditory.  They are the result of many a
punch and high tackle, broken eye socket, about 2 dozen broken noses
and a fractured cheek bone.  Shaun was actully quite a fresh faced
young lad when he joined Wigan. Just check any archive photos.

Such hero worship. How anybody could actually write and defend Sean Edward's
looks. It just beggars belief. Words fail me etc. etc.
