I was so busy last weekend, getting the final results of
the regular season together, I completely forgot to
acknowledge and congratulate Lloyd for winning the
Tipping Comp.
Lloyd has been a regular and highly consistent tipster from
the very beginning of this competition. In the last 10 years
he has been 2nd, 3rd, or 4th on numerous occasions, but I
think this is the first year he has actually been Champion.
...A shame, then, that he was beaten this weekend, under
highly controversial circumstances, but having finished in
the top 4 of course, he lives to fight again next weekend.

Especially the All-Kens draw, however Ken Wood is
adjudged to have won, as per the rules, having finished
higher in the Ladder.
Interestingly, the only person who sent separate tips for
the Virtual Comp would have won had he stuck to his
public tips.....Whoateallthepies!
So, Stefos and Ken Wood now have next weekend off,
while Whoatealltpies and David Kitching are eliminated. ( All
4 will of course still be free to enter the open Playoffs
comp)
