Hang on, I thought he stepped down for reasons like the new lot have more
dosh to put into the club so it was best to let them have it etc.  In fact
I think something like that has been posted by yourself, Ryan, so whats
changed?

Your Dad won the lottery last week?

Do the new lot not have any cash anyway?

Why does he want to buy it if this new lot are about to put more money
into it than he can afford?

All very confusing.

That's what we'd like to know.  In the first week that the new blokes took over they sacked the
coach, grounsman, complex manager, community co-ordinator and placed Martin Wood on the
transfer list along with other players becoming unsettled.  This is not what we expected or wanted
to happen after 5 years of hard work.

this point is debatable.

My dad is taping up a few contacts and old freinds who have a bit of money.  He is aiming pay off
the amount that the new owner has pouit in, and then secure further funding to ensure the life of
the club.

I must stress that we have not yet secured the appropriate finance, and there has been no deal
reached yet.  It could be a while, if at all, MickO takes over the club; although the initial signs are
good

Matthew Elliot, as expected (and hoped for), has been named the new
Bradford Bulls coach starting from September. The contract is for two
years and his assistant will be former GB captain Brian Noble. Possibly
the only surprise there is that Graham Bradley didn't get a leg up the
ladder and become an assistant as well.

Keighley are reportedly talking to Shaun Edwards about his becoming a
player/coach to replace yon Larder. Can't see how you can be a
player/coach these days but if that's what they want to do then good luck
to 'em.

Other Keighley news, Mike O'Neill is trying to buy the club according to
today's (Friday) local rag. I shall keep my opinion on that to myself
though.

Only rumour-mongering again but Edwards has been down the Willows quite
frequently of late...heard a rumour he used to have a thin connection
with Andy Gregory! :)

Much as we've had our disagreements Ryan from a neutral point of view
I'd rather have your dad in charge instead of that*** who appears to
be there.

I mean after this weekend I guess there might never be another Reds v
Cougars game the way it's going...

By the way are you coming down?

Don't wanna put you off but we're being presented with the trophy after
the game if we win! Bit of harsh timing there. Salford asked the RL if
the England coach could present it! Cheeky blighters!
