Does anyone know if Robinson left with the rest of the Wigan squad to
Australia. There was speculation that if he could not be brought out
of the contract with the ARL then he would stay at Wigan and then
travel to Australia separately. Is there any news on his situation at
Wigan?
Just heard, Brisbane got beat by Hunter 24-6. Wigan are gonna kill
'em!

He's gone out there and Hughes is "in negotitations" with the ARL with
regard to keeping him at Wigan. Robinson is apparently prepared to take a
drop in wages to stay with the club. He may have to anyway when they
start throwing gold bullion at Dennis Betts.

Considering recent events at Odsal, that may be taken to be against the
spirit of the game.
