This is just as a matter of interest and I'm not suggesting for a minute
this is going to happen.

When Phil 'The' Larder was sacked by Sheffield he commented that he was
the coach of the lowest place team not to have had their head coach
sacked up until that point.

Seven coaches have been sacked from the top flight so far this season.
It's a 12 team competition. St.Helens are now fifth.

Work it out for yourselves.

Personally I'd have sacked him for his comments about Salford. Uncalled
for I think.

Nervous breakdown methinks....

There must have been a few Saints guys at board level squirming when
those reports came out....

You just don't need your coach going off the rails at a time like
this, unless you're Warrington of course then it's par for the
course...

Nice of Darryl to give them his full, wholehearted support in their
hour of crisis! :)

Did you see the game on SKY cos I was wondering whether Ted Bovis got any
apearence money for the Number of times he appeared on the big screen was
unbelievable.
At one point he was seen to be using a phone I was wondering was he
ringing Oz for his old job back.

The thing that really got my goat (excuse me Chris) is that to an
extent I can accept the post match ramblings of a stressed out convict
but I pick up a copy of League Express today and he repeats, and makes
it worse in the half page Coaches View thing. Now that to me is
absolutely unforgivable that he can sit back in the light of day and
stand by surely the biggest mistake of his career without a hint of
"***. probably shouldn't have said that."

He actually says "They're in a false position. Unfortunately they just
keep beating teams at the Willows". Why is that unfortunate? Sorry
must be our shitty pitch. We'll see if Bradford break any ankles on it
this weekend eh? We'll also see if they enjoy our facilities which for
me are certainly on a par with Knowsley Road.

We might well beat the Bulls on Sunday to make it a hat trick of top
scalps...god knows they've had enough close runs and won't be fancying
it, but if I was a neutral then then maybe I wouldn't be that gutted
to see them win. For the greater good and all that. I've had a dislike
of Saints players attitudes for a good while now but this has tipped
the balance once and for all.

I can imagine quite a bit of anti Saints banter going on on Sunday
with both sets of fans and personally I can't wait...

Terribly ungracious comments from the walrus :-)

I thought Dorahy was a plonker when at Wigan, but McCrea is unbeleivable.
