Which would leave a space plus a share of SL funds for South Wales. Or it
would have done, had not the Council just decided to put an end to hopes of
League in South Wales.

No, you are witnessing why many of the people who have been running the
game in this country should not run the sport.

Your knowledge of the game in the UK is exactly how big?

: Where is Rupert to bail them out?
: U r witnessing why a company should not run a sport

No, you are (note spelling, you're not in a Californian kindergarten now
lad) witnessing the effect dilapidated stadia, poor marketing and
ineffective management has on one club.

British clubs have been in a poor financial state since time immemorial
and Ruper Murdoch throwing a few million at clubs won't change anything.
Why? Because the overwhelming majority of British clubs have no idea when
it comes to marketing, management and finance. Hence monies will be
consistently thrown at players rather than where it is really required
for the good of the game in the UK. This is something Super League is
changing with a salary cap and a different mind set being adopted by a
few clubs. That mind set adopted most notably by St.Helens and Bradford
Bulls is now trickling down to other clubs and next season should see a
marked improvement over this one.

In short, you might be able to turn shit into gold in one year but I'm
quite sure no *** else can.

I thought that every sports club was a company....
