Yep possibly a relegation play-off Sheffield v Warrington (next week)
Then wires go to Wigan. Wires still have a little more about them than
Eagles but it is early days yet. How long before Duffy is put on the
transfer list for 1.25 million?

Greg should never have played Platt as he obviously wasn't fit.

I know what you mean about Greg whinging.  What was he doing giving an
interview to the BBC at half-time anyway?  I'd be fuming if McCrae was
off giving interviews when he should be giving a team talk.

The BBC did a good job again, I thought - the only exceptions were Simms
and French.  Were they watching the same match as me?  Anyone would have
thought that Saints were taking the hammering.  Also, Steve Simms
shouldn't be allowed on TV as he seemingly has problems speaking English.

Not seen much from him yet at  all to be honest.

I've seen other coaches give HT interviews before now. It's usually over
by the time the team are in the DR anyway.

Not seen the video, refusing to watch it out of a matter of principal
but seems to be the common thought that the Joynt try was rather
fortunate for Saints. Good old Cummings. Now there's a ref on the slide.
Feel a bit sorry for the *** actually there was no way he could keep
up with the game and it was the same last weekend against  Cas and that
was a lot slower than the semi. Alternatively he might just be a
cheating bastard! :)

And while we're on the subject is it Oldham's own unique style to fend
off relegation by conceding at least 30 points in both their opening
matches?

Ooh there's gonna be tears on Friday....

Cummings had more chance of getting Sullivan as he was going in for his
1st than any of the Salford players.  Unfortunately, Cummings is probably
one of the better referees around at the moment.

He also missed Perelini's totally LEGAL try as well.

All things considered - his performance was pretty well balanced.
