St's v Auckland

WOW,

What a start to WCC! Auckland by a long way... mind u Wigan put 65 past a
similarly weakened St Helens. But the difference in play was marked... A
seemed to be offloading 3 times as many as St's.

Question has to be asked about Goulding, what about his op? Maybe he should
have had it and saved himself and his team the embarasment.

Auckland played a very niggly game in the first 15-20 mins, lots of knees
in the face at the play the ball, etc. Seemed to work, St's definitely put
off. On the night though CONGRATS to Auckland.

Roll-on Bulls v Panthers, hope our boys put up a better show than St's.

Ilook forward to hearing you congratulate a blind side punch, or a
stamping incident, if a knee in the face is an acceptable tactic.

Gotta be fair to Cummings (for a change). I don't like the report
system but he had to use it there. Nobody saw it. I don't like it when
they put players on report for stuff they've seen...

Did look rather *** though....How's his cheek was it broken...lucky
lad if not...realtively speaking..

That wasn't made particularly clear. But I'll trust you.

When I was watching the replays it certainly looked like Cumming was
looking directly at the incident. No bottle as far as I'm concerned as
with all the referees this year. He should have been straight off.

And on another gripe about refs - do they have to go to the Video ref
for every try. Some of the requests have been bordering on the
rediculous.
