1st Rd Keeper League Daft Advice-Running backs

I pick last in the first round of my keeer league draft tonite,who do
you think would be the best one of these backs to draft.I need a back to
somewhat play right away and i cant make a mistake with this pick.Here
are the backs i will have to choose from:
Errict Rhett,Robert Edwards,Jamal Anderson,Terry Allen,Robert
Holcombe,Lamar Smith,Jay Graham,Sedrick Shaw,Donnell Bennett,Karim
Abdul-Jabbar,Mike Allstot,Raymont Harris,James Stewart,Fred Taylor.
Not a bad selection,but they all have their downside.Any advice out
there would help,Thanx in advance,Andrew Koch

I would go with Alstott.  He defintely has is a major part of
the Tampa offense.  Everyone else on your list has a chance
of not really seeing much playing time at all in 1998.

My next choice would be Terry Allen.  However, with a
history of injury he may be near the end.  Notice the
Redskins drafted RB Skip Hicks with the round 2 choice.
They know he's about done.
