For several years now in Philly, Fred Barnett has been putting up better
numbers than talented #2 man Calvin Williams. This year, however, with
Barnett out for the year with a leg injury, Williams has been having a
acreer year (I think he has 9 TDs now).
Questions when Barnett comes back--
1.) Will he be the same receiver he was before the injury? I have read
occassional claims on this board that Barnett may not be the same when he
returns...does anyone have anything *concrete* that might give us an
indication one way or another?
2.) Will Williams continually get the ball as much as he did this year? I
assume he won't, of course. I was always under the assumption that Barnett
was Cunningham's favored receiver (you can sort of guess these things when one
man consistently catches more balls and TD passes week to week, year to year,
etc.). Any indications this would change?
Does anyone out there have any insight or printed word (read: "newspaper
information") that would shed some light on these questions?
