It seems like no matter who ends up as the Browns head coach, he is already
handicapped because of the team's bozo of an owner.  So, it just figures that
after a history of ego-clashes with decent coaches (ala Marty and PB), Ye
Artful One decides to cater to the whims of a coach whose offensive philosophy
has NOTHING to do with the type of talent (formerly) on the team.  Metcalf up
the middle has not seemed to produce many points so far, but I guess that is
due to the fact that Bernie Kosar can't roll out.  And, what the hell is up
with waiting until your third year to draft an offensive lineman?  ESPECIALLY
if you want to constantly run the ball??

This marks Art's fourth decade of incompetence as the owner of an NFL team.
At this rate, he will go down in history as the winningest owner who never
reached the Superbowl.

BTW.  I know this is flame material, but...  With a new ballpark for the
Indians, who seem to be improving, wouldn't it be ironic if Cleveland became
a baseball town in a couple of years??  At this point, I think Modell deserves
it.  (Just a thought)

One good thing Art did was make millions of dollars for all the owners.
He was the head man who handeled all TV rights since the AFL-NFL merger.
They all love him.
BTW Cleveland is a great baseball town and we might be on top in
1994.
