What a screwed up game - two goal-line to's by the Hawkeyes, great rally by the
Nits, horrible clock management by Iowa, a bad call by the officials on the PSU
OT sideline catch....fitting conclusion to the game tho.....

Don't forget to just say NO to playoffs

that was a good call, he was juggling it.  Didn't have possession.

I agree.  It's questionable whether he ever had possession at all.  He
certainly didn't have possession until after his feet left the ground, and
the next part of his body to touch turf was out of bounds.

And just like Gabriel's catch in the end zone.

Yes, except you called it a catch.

And not five minutes ago you said the guy in the blue jersey caught it.

I thought Tony Johnson had control from when he sno-coned it. Unlike
Gabriel, he kept the ball throughout the entire play.

I didn't like the call on the PSU pass, but the play was deceptive (to
me, at least). You see him throw this 25 yard pass and you're thinking
big play, but the play would have been good for 3-4 yards (he had just
scrambled back so far he had to throw it 25 yards to gain 4).

Yep - the PSU catch was a whole lot cleaner to my eye.....

Sorry, but have to disagree - he feet were clearly in bounds - the only question
was whether or not possession had been made - borderline perhaps - but was
surprised the refs did not confer - the backside ref called it good....

That's exactly what I'm talking about, he was juggling the ball.

I wasn't - the frontside ref clearly had the better angle so it was natural
for the backside ref to defer.

This is conjecture- we'll never know which ref was looking where-
and the backside dude was on the line and immediately signaled a
reception.
He beat the other ref to the punch actually--

Anyway-

Congrats Iowa- again- you had every chance to fold and wouldn't.
