Am I digging a hole for myself?

Hi all. I've been using the free agent market each week extensively,
which has led me to a 3-1 record so far, which is unbelieveable
considering my team. Well...first here is my team:

   QB Jeff George, ATL
   QB Warren Moon, MIN

   RB Marshall Faulk, IND
   RB Lawrence Phillips, STL
   RB Adrian Murrell, NYJ
   RB Bam Morris, BAL

   WR Tony Martin, SD
   WR Terance Mathis, ATL
   WR Brian Blades, SEA
   WR Henry Ellard, WAS
   WR Johnny Morton, DET
   WR Torrance Small, NO

   TE Irv Smith, NO
   TE Jay Novacek, DAL

   K John Carney, SD

I had Robert Green for 2 weeks (during Salaam's absence). I've been
the king of the average WRs, having Chrebet, Timpson, and the
unfortunately injured Brisby as well.  Now with Faulk injured
the past few weeks, Novacek out for what may be his career,
the headcase trio of Phillips, Morris, and Blades, Murrell
still playing for the Jets, Moon slightly injured, and now George
benched and possibly traded, things are looking pretty bleak.

Now here are the questions:
1. Should I try to be like Atlanta and ship off George?  In our
10 team league, I don't think there is anyone interested in
him anyway.

2. Should I drop Novacek? This is a keeper league (keep 7), which will
expand to 12 teams next season.  We are a traditional yardage/TD
league.  You are also only allowed to keep a player out of the
draft for 3 years, and this is Novacek's second year. I've
been trying to trade him, but without much luck.

3. Should I get Brisby back? Who should I drop if I did?

4. I'm going to start Moon, Murrell, Phillips, Martin, Smith
and Carney this week. I still need one more RB/WR to start.
I'm considering Ellard, but who knows how long the Jets
will slide.  Morton against Tampa Bay looks pretty decent
as well.

Man, I'm in deep dog-doo.

There will likely be no interest for a dead QB. I'd keep him for a short
while to see if he does land somewhere desirable.. Say.. STL or NO or
whereever.

He's dead. Drop him. Find a quality player (hint.. TE I.Smith/NO) for
his roster spot.

Simple. Get Brisby over Novacek. Kill 2 birds with one transaction.

Ellard is the -only- professional WR playing in Washington. I'd lead
that way.

I decided not to trade George. With Moon originally as a backup
(figure that) I can always wait a while to see where George lands.
He won't get as many yards as he was with the run-and-shoot,
but he is still an above average QB.

I've got Irv Smith already. He's been starting for me each week. I
think I'm going to try to get Galbraith (SP?) from Washington.

Unfortunately, I'd be screwed if Irv Smith loses his job to Lusk
or he gets injured without a backup TE, which I must start each week.

I think that's a good call. I already put in my roster, and thats
who I decided upon. Unfortunately, I probably should have benched
Phillips and started three WR instead. Either way, the team I'm
playing is going to kick my ass (he's starting Blake, B.Sanders,
T.Davis, M.Allen, J.Rice, B.Coates, J.Hanson...he had an awesome
draft last year, and made some incredible trades, getting Sanders
for a combo which included Means early in the year)

I think this statement still holds true.
