I have Owens, Brown, Mason and Burris -

I have been offered R Smith, J smith and Baltimore d (an upgrade over my current Dallas) for Owens and D Mason.

My gut says to reject it - am I missing something?

Thanks

Follow your gut.
Sure R. Smith is good, but you got Owens with a decent WR corps. Dont
change a thing. And with Jimmys holdout (which he is more than happy
to wait the entire season for) it is risky to even consider him in a
trade let alone drafting him. Keep what you got. If you are unhappy
with the Dallas D, Im sure there are a few you could pick up off the
wire that are better.

Reject this without a thought.  Owens will outproduce both Smith's, and Mason may also do the same.  Jimmy Smith is also in the midst of what looks like an ugly holdout.  Baltimore D is not an upgrade over the Dallas D.  At best, they are even, I give a slight edge to Dallas this year.

don't trade for J smith unless he's dirt cheap and it's a keeper type
league

Coleman nailed it.  Don't even think about this trade.  Also, I would rarely, if ever, let a defense/ST have any significant influence on a trade, especially one involving heavy hitters like this deal.  Don't do it!
