Duckett or Lamar Gordon?.......

Post by Stephen Donatell » Fri, 24 Sep 2004 23:32:43

Who should I start? Gordon probably won't do much, but he's thier main guy
for now, while Warrick Dunn is hurting, so TJ Duckett should get some
playing time against the Cardinals.

Gordon or Duckett, whom to start?

Thanks,

Steve D.

I guess your the NFL expert, right? Moron.

My team is pretty good with Peyton Manning, Clinton Portis, Chris Brown, and
David Ackers.

The Cowboys stink anyway, sounds you like you root for a great team in
Dallas :-)

Fanball says that without Dunn, the Falcons may actually use Griffith more
than Ducket, because he's a better blocker.
Griffith had 73 yards and a TD in week 2.

And you're an ***.  He probably needs a 3rd RB or flex player.
Whatever the deal is, there is no reason to flame someone for asking
for advice.

unless someone suggests trading travis minor for randy moss.
in that case, they would deserve to be flamed... :)

Are you a moron? I can start 3 rb and 1 wr or 3 wr and 1 rb. What a loser
you are :-)

Thanks you, I was just asking for a little help, didn't mean to offend
anybody.

I'd go Duckett.  Even with Dunn probable.  If I were coach, once I got up on
ATL then I'd let Dunn rest for a real game.  He will be part time though.
AZ has zero defense and Duckett w/his size will squash them.  Plenty of TDs
coming out of this game.

Miami just sucks.  Cinci defense is weak - think they lost another lineman.
Maybe Gordon is up to speed...but I'd bet Minor and Smith get carries too.

Next year draft RBs till the cows come home.

He shouldn't have to.  It's not relevant to the question, just your defense
for acting like such an ***.

Gordon plays on a crappy team with a poor offensive line, but you KNOW
he is going to get carries.  Duckett is second string to Dunn, and
isn't guaranteed to see ANY carries.  Start Gordon simply because he
has the higher probability of producing SOMETHING!

Need more information to give in infomative answer. Do you get points for
receptions or just yards? IMO Lamar is not going to get you many yards, they
just simply cannot move the ball. However, he is the only offensve tool they
used last week. He's getting plenty of targets as a receiver. So if you do
get reception points then I'd say Gordon is a decent start in your situation
depending on which receiver you're going to bench to start him. Sounds to me
like there is a good chance that Dunn is going to start, but split carries
with Duckett. I'd probably shy away from Duckett if I was you. But again,
depends on your scoring sytem. If your in a TD only league then duckett is a
pretty decent start as well.
