It's no biggie to me. The 2nd season starts in two weeks (technically,
next week for the NFL;-), and the team will be respectively healthy.
Again, the win would have been nice, but getting out healthy, IMHO, was a
bigger priority. Of course, if home field advantage was on the line
today, this would be a completely different story. ;-)
"Boo" Kelly's progress is very good, and at this point, Kelly expects
to play in two weeks. Leon Seals' injury may not be as bad as projected
(thank you, natural grass...IMHO, the *only* kind of field pro football
should be played on:-). However, losing Don Beebe is a minor blow, because
Beebe was starting to make progress the last few weeks prior to the

Again, it may not be as bad as projected. See tonight's local news or
ESPN's Gameday or SportsCenter for details. However, Mark Kelso saw
action today, and two more weeks from now, he can definitely help. Also
important is that the defense's big players (Bruce Smith, Darryl Talley,
Nate Odomes, Cornelius Bennett, Shane Conlan, Leonard Smith) and the
key offensive players (Andre Reed, James Lofton, Thurman Thomas, Frank
Reich) left RFK Stadium healthy. Not to mention Kelso's return and
Kelly's upcoming one.

Give Lohlmiller credit on going 5-for-5. A few of those kicks were
on target. And let's keep GOOD habits going into the playoffs...;-)
