Some thoughts about last night and college bb:

- The Big East is ***.  Again.

- In two Final Fours (M/W) you have 8 teams 5 of them are Big East.
On the mens side, its 50%.   On the womens side, its 75%.

- What has happened to this conference is a crime and a shame.

- The last Catholic BE school to win a NC is Villanova in 1985 28
years ago.

- Since that time, 5 times the BE has been NC, none of those by a non-
football school.

- Pitino is an all-time great coach.

- Im glad Tark got into the HOF, the man is a genius and one of the
greatest program-builders of all time.

- This Louisville team is a beast.    I saw them throttle UConn in the
second half, absolutely dismantle them after UConn had hung with them
the entire first half knew then that this Louisville team was going
deep.

- Hoping Geno can pull the rabbit out of his hat tonight.

Also one of the biggest crooks of all time.

Me too.  Pitt actually hung tough with them (losing by three at
Louisville) but this team was just so talented, explosive and well
coached.  Plus Peyton Siva has played for them the last 9 years - even
longer than Gerry MacNamara did at Syracuse.

What is this bullshit?  UConn will win by at least 15 points.

Siva made a huge difference with this team - when he was on the bench
they were much more manageable.
