FINALLY had my main money league draft tonight...

...and I ended up with the following team, picking 7th of 10.  Fairly
standard scoring (25 pass yds/pt, 10 rush or rec yds/pt, 4 pt passing TDs, 6
pt rush/rec TDs, -2 for all turnovers).

Starters:
QB - Culpepper (7th round)
RB1 - S.Jackson (1st)
RB2 - McGahee (2nd)
WR/TE1 - R.Moss (3rd)
WR/TE2 - Driver (5th)
FLEX - K.Jones (4th)

Bench
Delhomme (8th round)
A.Green (6th)
Gado (10th)
D.Blaylock (11th)
Coles (9th)
D.Bennett (12th)

No kickers or defensive teams to worry about, required starting positions
are as shown above.

As advertised, I hitched my wagon to S.Jackson once again, so I'll be taking
a big fall this year if he fails.  With K.Jones, I think I've got one of the
strongest weekly FLEX players in the league, which I think will be a nice
advantage.

Thoughts?

Interesting that your 'main league' hasnt PKs or DTs or TEs.  anyway...
I'm suprised to see a league full of guys worrying about a #2 WR
(dime/dozen) rather than a #1 QB in that Round 5-7 area.  What Delhomme
was doing on the board in round 8 (or Culpepper in 7) when people ar
drafting the likes of Driver in teh 5th is beyond me, but every draft
has it's trends and foibles.
I like the late AGreen/Gado pick ups.  It'll be handy, I reckon, sooner
or later.  RMoss at 3.7 is surprising (should've gone earlier), and
KvJones at 4.4 is shocking (though when I had the decision, I took
Dillon instead of KJ, and Dunn).  You got too many Packers, and this
can't be the best-case scenario, can it?  And any Jet is one too many,
and why you have 2 is questionable at best.  Apart from that, a pretty
fair team.  Was Blaylock worth a pick in any round?  Or any Jet RB?

When we first started up this league, we were trying to keep it "simple" for
the newbies by not messing with the K and DEF positions.  Now, 7 years
later, most in the league are "experienced", and nobody really misses
dealing with the Rackers and Gostkowskis of the world, let alone the hit or
miss defenses.  K and DEF seem to have so much variability from season to
season, it's usually nothing more than a blind ass guess, outside of the top
few.

I was one of the few who waited until the 7th round for my QB, and I think
it yielded decent results.  Culpepper and Delhomme for some reason both
slid, and they seemed like perfect compliments to each other.

...and every year, people dismiss Driver as being 'a dime a dozen', yet he
continues to put up solid numbers.  He's basically one of my "mascot"
players that I get on most every team.  I also think you'll see that his
typical ADP is right around where I took him.

Can't argue with that, but then again, I'm not relying on any of them but
Driver for weekly production (right now anyway).

The thinking was Coles = very late, tons of catches means good yardage with
a "real" QB at the helm this year.  Time will tell.

Obviously, J-E-T-S suck.  But...Blaylock was pretty much a throw-away pick
at the tapped out RB position.  I hear he has some chance of PT in their
mess of a backfield.  If not, into the FA pool with him in a couple weeks!
