Yep.  We've lived in our current house for 4 1/2 years and I've moved
furniture between the living room and family room at least 5 times.
The living room has been changed another 3-4.

But that is not as annoying as the "let's do a project this weekend"
syndrome, when you come home and find the wallpaper removed from a
room, or a new paint job started ... of course, on already busy
weekends.

My wife learned to do this by herself(mostly) because I cant stand
having to learn a new direction to see the TV when laying on the
couch, so I***and moan about moving things around.  She still does
it every four months or so.

Heh. I guess I'm not wifely material--more proof. Heh I change my
furniture every year, at the most...I don't really care about things
like that.  I think I've changed the bedroom furniture once in 4
years. It's too much of a pain. :-)

I've never changed my furniture.  Got it right the first time.  So long as
the
couch and barcolounger face the TV, who cares?

Basically, that *was* what I was saying... if a woman has moved her
furniture a total of (probably) two times in nine years, that's
typical?  According to the women I know, I don't think so...

"I think I've changed the bedroom furniture once in 4
years. It's too much of a pain. :-) "

is veeeeeeery different than "I haven't changed my furniture b/c I
like it where it is"

IOW, you haven't changed b/c you don't want to, but b/c it's too much
of a PITA.  Some might even say that you'd make good wifely material b/
c you're demonstrating wifely characteristics....:)

Okay, I should have clarified...A, it is a pain and B, I don't really
care enough about it to move it. I *can* move it--I have. But it's not
on my list of priorities.

Yea, but even if I did...I just don't think about it. I don't look at
my furniture longingly and think, "If I had some Big Strong Male Type,
I'd move this here..." etc.  I can pretty much move everything in my
house, except for the big ass entertainment center. (That I wish I
didn't have.)  But even that I can move with my legs. :-) (The time I
did move it, I moved it a la' 'leg press' movements. heh)
