There is nothing better than sending yet another bunch of overrated,
smack-talking, whiskey bottle throwing, inbred hillbillies from
Missouri back to their festering garbage dump of an Ozark homeland
with YET ANOTHER LOSS!

And that's all I've got to say about that.

Other than the fact that yet another Mizzou football team won't get
their picture hung in the locker room.  I find their obsessedness
amusing.

I thought Brad Smith was spozed to be some kinda Heisman dood or
somethin.  He looked like he'd do alright in the Big Sky, but seemed
slow for a Big 12er.

That Kansas placeholder needs to nix the gloves, especially when the
weather looked that nice.

I asked Bobby Dylan, I asked the Beatles, I asked The Tucson Bender

That was actually some effective defensive coaching.  A linebacker
stayed home to contain Mr. Heisman Candiate on every single play, and
it worked.  Too bad for Gary Pinkel that he didn't figure out that his
RB was his best offensive weapon until it was entirely too late.

The real problem is that our long snapper sucks mightily.  Been a
problem all season.  Of course, our kicker sucks so much that it
really doesn't make that much difference.

Did you see Mizzou's cheerleaders and mascot?

They didn't move and inch the entire 4th quarter.

What's your estimate of # Mooo fans at the game? It was nice to see a
50+K crowd at a home game that isn't half Nebraska fans.

I'd guess about 5K.  They were solid in the visitors' section in the
SE corner, had a small presence in the bowl, and were mixed in
elsewhere.

Refreshingly, my fellow wine-and-cheesers in the West stands did not
give good seats to Mizzou fans.  One can only hope that they will
eventually stop providing the same courtesy to Huskers.
