Iowa-Penn State?

Is anyone actually buying the ABC/ESPN spin-hype that this is worth
tuning in for? Anyone really interested in watching PSU boringly grind
Iowa down 27-7 or someshit?

Iowa has beaten Penn State 7 out of the last 9 games, including a
3-1 record in Happy Valley, plus Penn State has some injuries, so I'm
taking Iowa and the 9 1/2 points.  Penn State may win, but I seriously
doubt they'll cover the spread.

Exactly.

When St. Fry arrived at Iowan in the late 70's the first thing he
decided was that the team needed an attitude make-over.  And the fact
that Iowa's colors were Black and Gold combined with the fact that
Stillers were Bestriding All Of Football Like The Collosus of Yore in
those days made it an absolute no-brainer.

Best uniforms in all of college football...

P.S.
Last year, I was tailgating with the Hawkeye fans outside of Heinz
Filled and you won't believe the goodwill from the Pitt fans.  It had
NOTHING to do with Pitt - it had everything to do with the Black & Gold!
And I say this as a Pitt fan who has had season tickets from the days
of Sal Genilla...

Alabama or Penn State.  Both clean, crisp, classic designs.  <--- <ghey>

Michigan wins the helmet subsection.

Cheers.

I'm not sure I would say best uniforms, but I would say best logo.
The Hawkeye rules.  Especially considering that it is relatively new.

eh....I think psu will win, but I dont know about 27-7.

I'll say this though:  if iowa loses by such a margin ferentz should
have some real explaining to do.  He's one of the highest paid coaches
in the country(top tenish I think) and the results just arent there.
A beatdown by a penn state team that quite frankly probably isn't all
that special should start to get people talking more about maybe
trying to buy KF out....

Why dont you let the Iowa fans worry about that, eh?  We are very
happy with where Kirk has us.  Do we want more?  Hell, yes...but we
are realists.
