The cartoonists have just got to be pulling for McCain/Palin - she and
McCain ought to be good to draw - just as in this pic.  Most excellent

that is funny.  however reality will probably be more like Bentsten/
Quayle in the veep debate.   If I were the repubs, I'd keep her away
from debate

From what I've heard - she does quite well in debates....we'll see in
just a few short weeks.

She's already got the undisclosed location thing down pat.

They better start working with Biden right now. He's got that snide
grin that can seem misogynistic, even when he's eating an ice cream
cone. Women are going to run to the McCain/Palin ticket after the VP
debates, if she baits him into saying something that can be taken as
being belittling to the majority of the current voting population.

Dewd, Bentsen was HORRIBLE in that debate (as was Quayle). The only
credit the Dems get (and it is to their GREAT credit) was the
excellent political ambush they set for Quayle with regard to
something he'd been saying for weeks.

Other than that, Bentsen was HORRIBLE. It was like watching Lou Holtz
in a debate.

Funny and effective... but the artwork is horrible.

and all we remember is how dumb quayle was.

It will be interesting to see if palin has any substance at all.  So
far all I've heard are general pontifications from her.   I mean if
the point is that she is going to field dress the democrats I presume
that means she'll produce some substance right?

It will for me as Alaska's population is about 1/2 the size of the
county that I live in.  I want to see how her experience with world
and national issues will work with an aged president that could easily
put her in the presidency.

sense does that make?

Won't know until we see, eh?

I'm pretty confident that Biden will be Biden (i.e. pontificating
blow-hard), so all she's gotta do is make a better impression that
that.

Of course not, they're saying that she is as much as a "pork barrel"
politician as any of them.
